Ontario to outlaw any hand held communicators while driving vehicles

On April 22, the Ontario government passed a bill banning people from using hand-held communication and entertainment devices while driving.

Ontario drivers are used to talking on their mobile devices on-the-road, but that will likely become illegal by sometime this autumn.

Police and numerous citizen groups have been lobbying the government for such a law because of numerous accidents and close calls created by people talking on cell phones and not paying attention to their driving.
