Wright, Dennis Gilbert; Dennis’ family is sad to announce his passing on Thursday, September 30, 2010, after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 73. Dennis will be missed by his wife Monica of 50 years. He will also be missed by his three children, Darrell, Westly and Trudy and their partners. Dennis was a devoted grandfather and will be deeply missed by grandchildren Kristen, Zack, Jake, Grace, Luke and Abby. Cherished brother of John (Emily). Also missed by sister-in-law, Pauline (Mike). Dennis will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews both in Canada and England. Anyone who knew Dennis knew that he loved his hobby and he was fortunate enough to meet many wonderful people over the years. Monica and family wish to express immense gratitude for the support and offers of sympathy from so many. Dennis would have felt very proud and thankful knowing of this support. Special thanks to Dr. Gergovich, Dr. Stickney and all the nurses and staff of Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, for their compassionate care. Visitation was at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME – “William J Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Rd E, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Monday, October, 4, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service was held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dennis’ honor may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
