Passed peacefully with family at his side on Saturday March 27, 2021. Predeceased by his beloved wife and dance partner of 68 years, Evelyn. A wonderful father to David (Cindy dec. 2011, Deb dec. 2020) Wilson and Susan (Richard) Lauzon. Grandfather to Heather (Kevin) Vanek and Andrew Deakin and Step-Grandfather to Briggitte Leggett (Ryan), Ashley, Ryan and Justin. Great Grandfather to Holden, Conner and Jacob. Dear brother-in-law of Jean (Robert) Campbell and Joyce Wilson. Archie will be missed by nieces and nephews Bruce (Ingrid), Patricia and Cathy (Chris). An uncle to so many more spanning the circle of family in his life. Predeceased by his parents John C. and Mary Maude, brothers Manley, Richard “Dick” (Margaret, Mary) and Arnold “Scotty”, sisters Maude (Melvin) Loughran, Gladys (Frank) Leybourne and Elsie (Lorne) Donaldson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 6, 2021 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St. East, Elora. Visitors must RSVP, wear a mask and practice social distancing. A private service will be held for family. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
