Sharon Dianne Weber (nee Darroch) of Harriston passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Larry Weber (1993). Cherished mother of Kyle and Kathryn Weber of Cambridge, Kim Weber of Harriston and Krista and Ken Thompson of Harriston. Loving Grandma of Ryan, Matthew, Lucas and Jayden Weber of Cambridge and Shaelyn and Keagan Thompson of Harriston. Dear sister of Doug and Donna Darroch of Mount Forest, Brian and Anne Darroch of Mount Forest, Wayne and Judy Darroch of Lucan and Brenda Reeves and Clare Wright of Mount Forest. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her parents Stan (2006) and Mary (Crispin) Darroch (1988) and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Albert (1993) and Eileen (1988) Weber. Sharon loved and was extremely proud of her family and her community. You could count on her traveling to different arenas, to see her grandchildren play hockey or watch figure skating. There was always a camera in her hand to capture that snapshot in time. It could have been at a family gathering, local event or on one of her many travel adventures. She had a strong faith and served in many different positions and committees at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mount Forest. Sharon was always active in her hometowns of Drew, Minto Township and Harriston. History was a passion of hers and she was always busy with the Harriston Historical Society and served on the executive. Sharon recently received a volunteer award for 45 years plus of service with the Harriston Agricultural Society. The family received friends at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Monday, November 22, 2021 and on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. A private family service was held in the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Forest on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 followed by interment in Harriston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Forest would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be left at www.hardyleefuneralhome.com
