He was a member of the Fergus Curling Club, enjoyed golfing at Wildwinds and playing pool in a league in Guelph. Gary was a lifetime member of the Fergus Legion and he could often be found at the racetrack in Elora. He enjoyed playing euchre and just the weekend previous to his passing he played in Sault Ste. Marie with his legion buddies. Gary gained many friends over the years and always had a smile and enjoyed chatting with anyone he met. He will be missed by many, many friends and relatives. A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Fergus Legion (500 Blair Street, Fergus) from 4-8pm, with words of remembrance to be shared at 6:30pm.
