PRITTY, Cyril Howard

My wonderful husband of 48 years, Cyril Pritty went to Heaven to be with his Saviour, Jesus Christ on November 18th. I was very relieved that I was with him. I had sung a few Hymns and read some Scripture to him and he took his last breath as I completed Psalm 91. Arrangements are entrusted to Dods & McNair Funeral Home in Orangeville. Cremation will have taken place. His last few months were spent in the LTC at the Avalon in Orangeville. Cyril enjoyed playing the organ at various Churches and was pretty good with sight reading. He attended Church regularly as being a Christian meant a lot to him. He also did some preaching and taught the ALPHA course ten times. He enjoyed pottering in his work shop, repairing broken items and cutting the lawn with the ride-on mower. He had to avoid extremes of temperature with the MH and was always fatigued. He had two children with his first wife, Elizabeth (Nick) and Michael (Carla) He adopted two of mine, Lynne (Dwayne) and Emma (Howard) and became a step father to my oldest, Jenni. Later we had a daughter of our own, Rev. Charlotte, (the late Chris). He leaves a sister, Evelyn Pritty and a cousin John (Helen) Pritty. Grand Children, John, Nicole, Claude and Bianca all in South Africa. Daniel, Jacob, Adam and George in UK and Nicole in Canada. Memorial Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
