Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Ord, lovingly known as Papa. He passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Gary enjoyed a long and happy marriage with the love of his life, Tena, who is lovingly known as both Franka and Grandma by her grandchildren. Gary is survived and deeply missed by his wife Tena; his children Tracey (Mike), Trevor (Tracy), and Daryl (Sam), as well as his grandchildren Emma, Brennan, Rylan, Matthew, Kayla, Ashley, Meryk, Roam, and Indigo. He was predeceased by his parents Don and Marg Ord. Gary is survived by his siblings Dave, Sue, Pete (Donna), Kate (Oscar), Lynda (Fred), Sharon (Jim), and Karen (Mark), along with his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Gary had an affinity for life, indulging in all outdoor activities. He had a passion for travel, trucks and motorcycles, but above all of these things was his love for being a Papa to his nine grandchildren. Gary’s presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and joy to all who were fortunate enough to share in his laughter and kindness.
