NOBLE, Joan (Dix)

Of Elora, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in her 67th year. She was surrounded with love. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Martin Dix (Heather), Steve Dix (Connie), Peggy Dix and Nancy Leek. Much loved Aunt of Jed (Alison), Meghan (Warren), Jenny (Jon), Cait (Jeff), Grace (Mike), Catherine and Nathan. Great Aunt of ten. She also leaves an enormous group of treasured friends and one sweet furry son (Ralphy). Predeceased by her parents Bill Dix (2016) and Hilda Dix (2018), two precious nephews Luke (2004) and Haydn (2019) and her friend/ex-husband Clark Noble (2019). Joan will be forever remembered for her goofy sense of humour, her revolving decorating taste, love of travel or a good book, avid card playing, compassion for animals and the deep respect earned in her career which culminated in her role as a Vice President at BMO Nesbitt Burns. She was saddled with constant new health challenges that started at an early age but battled each one by picking herself up at miraculous speed, determined to treat the most serious afflictions as blips. Friends and family are invited to say a final goodbye to Joan on Thursday, July 28 at Graham Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus. A visitation will take place at 1pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 3pm in the funeral home chapel. A link for Live-streaming will be available on the funeral home website under Joan’s obituary. Memorial donations may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital or Cats Anonymous.
