MacINNES, John Alvin Leonard

Of Palmerston passed away unexpectedly surrounded by the love of his family while he courageously battled cancer, at the Palmerston Hospital on November 2nd, 2024, in his 38th year. Dearly loved son of John “Jack” and Lois (Robinson) MacInnes of Palmerston, brother to Tracey Henry of Listowel. He will be fondly remembered by his soulmate Dawna-Lea Reynolds of Harriston. He will be missed by his nephews Trevor, Sean, and Stephen Henry, grandnephews Jayden, Deacon, Ryder, and one grandniece Claire, and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Leonard and Freda (MacDougall) MacInnes, and Alvin and Jean (McLeod) Robinson, and his beloved dog Wrinkles. A special thanks to the kindness of family and friends, and the special care given by the doctors, nurses, and staff. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston, on Friday November 8, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held in the James Street United Church, Palmerston, on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 2:00pm. Interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Palmerston Hospital MRI Fund would be appreciated by the family.
