Passed away peacefully with family at her side, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, on March 24, 2020 at age 88. Predeceased by her loving husband Rudy (1998). Beloved and cherished mother of Silvia Cadman (Robert), Rose Geneau (Maurice), Paul (Joan), Tanya Delurey (Vince) and predeceased by son Mike. Coolest, most supportive and proud Oma to grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Nathan, Angie (Chris), Luc, Laura (Paul), P.J. (Tracy), Jeremy, Sarah (Clay), Jake, and Jay, and great grandchildren Lexie, Gabby and Leo. Sister of Gert (Sigrun), and Peter (Rita) Predeceased by brother Horst (Brigitta). Hannelore or Lore as she was known to friends, was the adored matriarch of the Hanousek family. Most of her life was spent residing at the old schoolhouse that she and Rudy purchased and renovated. After Rudy passed away Lore eventually made the move to Fergus. For the past three years she has been residing with her daughter Tanya. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and they worshipped her. Her family truly was her life. She was an avid gardener and loved puttering in the soil watching things grow. Her cooking abilities were legendary and her family will be forever grateful for the skills she taught us. She will be tremendously missed and thought of each and every day. Donations to Wellington Hospice or Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis would be appreciated. A private family service will take place this summer. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A.
