Of Bracebridge passed away on Thursday, October 27th 2022 suddenly but peacefully after a short illness with family by her side. Survived by her nephews Stuart and Gilbert and nieces Lorrie and Cassandra and their families. Stepmother to Laura and Jay and grandmother to Joshua, Samantha and Matthew. Predeceased by her parents, brothers and her loving partner of more than 40 years, Leif Jorgensen. Sadly missed by her fur babies Gunner and Jack. Fay grew up in Erin, and after graduating nursing college began her career as an RPN in Bracebridge at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, she retired in 2019. Fay was an active member of the Muskoka District Kennel Club over 30+ years, where her love was the training and trialing of her own dogs, as well as teaching a variety of obedience classes to many students over the years. Fay will be sadly missed by her many friends of the nursing and Kennel Club community. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
