GOODE, Norman Raymond

Norm (aka Pop and Bud) Passed away peacefully at Headwaters Hospital in Orangeville on June 3rd, 2021 not far from his home of over 20 years in Erin. He was clear headed right until the end and thanks to all who had reached out, his thoughts were filled with a lifetime of wonderful memories and an appreciation of how much he meant to all of us. Pop will forever be remembered as a loving, hard-working, kind, quiet, funny, creative, and truly wonderful Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Neighbour by all who were lucky enough to have known him. In his own quiet way Pop not only taught us how to persevere through life’s ups and downs, but to learn, love, and especially laugh along the way. We, Pop and his family, would like to thank the incredible people at Bayshore Home Care Solutions and Headwaters Hospital (E-Wing and beyond). The care, and more importantly the kindness that we, and most especially Pop, received from all of you throughout his journey was truly outstanding and so very very much appreciated. Thank you. As a family we have rescued some terrific pets over the years, so we thought it might be fitting to suggest that donations may be made to the Upper Credit Humane Society (https://uppercredit.com/donate/) in his memory. Anything given in memory of our father would be greatly appreciated though, so pick the charity closest to your heart. One last thing…reach out to someone today who you haven’t talked to in a while. It doesn’t matter why you haven’t talked, or how long it has been, just do it for Pop. Thank you and bless you, Steve, Mindy & Griffin Jim, Joanna, William & Charlie.
