of Arthur passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Monday, June 24, 2019 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Gilbert (1977). Dear mother of the late Gisline Trottier and Claude Trottier, Georgette and Michael Mathieu of Montreal, the late Gerald Gilbert, the late Charlie Gilbert and Alma Gilbert of Arthur, Germaine Potter and the late Gary Potter of Owen Sound, Emile Gilbert and Jennifer O’Leary of Mississauga, Jules and Angie Gilbert of Mount Forest, the late Julian Gilbert, Maria Gilbert of Arthur, the late Conrad Gilbert, Leon and Marg Gilbert of Chatsworth and Sylvie and Mike Whaley of Damascus. She will be sadly missed and loved by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren who affectionately called her Memere. To honour Suzelle’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held a later date and will be announced at that time.
