It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Antonia (Toni) Dortmans (nee van der Heijden) on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Billings Court Manor at the age of 95. Aunt Toni, beloved wife of the late Bert Dortmans, predeceased by her siblings Martinus, Maria, Frans, Johannes, Lambertus, Francisca, and Hendrika. Toni was a strong woman with a generous heart and a great sense of humour. She will be remembered lovingly by her many nieces, nephews and friends. The family thanks the staff and volunteers at Billings Court Manor for their compassionate care and kindness. Visitations were held on Wednesday, January 8 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm with prayers at 6:45pm at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus ON. The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 9 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Parish, 760 St. David Street North, Fergus, ON. Burial to occur at St. Mary/St. Joseph Cemetery, Country Road 7 at South Street, Elora. Reception to be held at St. Joseph Parish.
