Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Lois was the loving wife of the late Ray Curtis (2012) and Bill Knowles (1974). Dear sister of Dorothy Small and Joyce Auger. Lois was very involved in UCWA and Presbytery as an active member at Norfolk United Church and more recently Dublin Street United Church. She was an independent, loving and kind soul. Lois will be missed by Jerry & Susan Auger of Puslinch, Kevin and Jeanne Auger of Chicago, Scott and Julie Auger of Atlanta and all her great and great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Gilchrist Chapel – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph with the service at 11:00am. Inurnment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
