GUELPH  – The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) released its 2024 annual impact report highlighting the organizations contributions to animal welfare in Guelph, Wellington County and surrounding areas.

ELORA – The township will be removing two trees in the Elora Greenspace beginning April 14. In an April 11 press release, officials stated two Norway maples will come down. The decision to remove the trees followed a detailed arborist assessment that identified they are in declining health and pose

NORTH WELLINGTON – The North Wellington Community News earned four awards in the Ontario Community Newspaper Association’s Better Newspapers competition. 

ROCKWOOD  – Guelph/Eramosa council approved a noise bylaw exception for the Great Lakes Medieval Tournament and Faire slated for July.

KENILWORTH – Wellington North has awarded a tender of $375,051 for renovations at the former Arthur municipal office to Fina Construction Limited.Construction is set to start on May 1 and be done by Oct. 1.
