Mulmur man charged with careless driving, two sent to hospital

CENTRE WELLINGTON – A Mulmur resident has been charged with careless driving after a serious crash here Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the scene Wellington Road 17 east of Alma on Feb. 17 at about 6:45am.

Police say a pickup truck collided with two other vehicles and two drivers were transported by ambulance to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. The third driver was not injured.

Wellington Road 17 was closed for several hours and reopened shortly after 10am.

Thomas Jenkins, 21, of Mulmur Township, was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm, driving without insurance and driving with improper tires.
