Mount Forest Foodland exceeds fundraising goal for local food bank

Funds for food bank – A Mount Forest Foodland campaign to raise money for the local food bank raised a total of $16,886, well above the target of $4,000.

“We over achieved our goal, between the efforts of the community, staff donations and the outstanding work of cashiers to help raise money to support our local food bank,” said Kim Catalano, far right in photo, who co-owns the store with her husband Luigi Catalano.

“Thank you once again for everyone’s support,” said Kim, who called the response to the campaign “absolutely amazing.”
