The Centre Wellington Fusion Minor Bantam AE team finished its regular season on Dec. 22 against Brampton.
Brampton kept the pressure on the Fusion until they finally were able to solve Julian Austin late in the second. Eric Feltham responded back for the Fusion in the third with the assist going to Carter Hyndman.
Brampton once again took the lead a few minutes later. With five minutes remaining, Eric Feltham found the back of the net again to tie the game.
Julian Austin stopped 26 shots in a 2-2 tie.
The Fusion finished first overall in the division with an impressive 20-2-6 record for a total of 46 points. The next closest team had 38 points.
The team now moves on to the playoffs, where they faced off Brampton on Jan. 7 (results not known by press time).
