Maryborough Public School take part in Moorefield tree planting

Tree planting – The Grade 5/6 class at Maryborough Public School, led by their teacher Lori Albrecht, planted over 40 trees in Moorefield, with the assistance of Rob Johnson from the County of Wellington Green Legacy Program.

“These trees will provide a wind break for the residents living at the Maryborough Township Housing Corporation located on Caroline Street in Moorefield,” said Lori Woodham, property manager for the corporation. “They were so excited to participate in a field trip and I can’t thank them enough for their hard work. I hope they will take a look again and see how tall the trees have grown 10 years from now.”
