Make a meal, end poverty

Wellington County Learning Centre is seeking volunteers for a new program starting Sept. 23.

The Circles program helps people and families get out of poverty. It will be hosted in Arthur and help rural families all over Wellington County.  Each Wednesday there will be a meeting and meal provided.

The centre is looking for groups of five to six individuals to cook a meal for about 20 people. The meal does not have to be fancy, but rather well rounded and covering the food groups especially vegetables.

Contact Elizabeth Debergh at 519-848-3462 or literacy@thewclc.ca to book a Wednesday meal and help those in poverty become successful.
