Locals win lottery

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Two local residents have recently won lottery games. 

Joyce Frost, 56, of Erin won over $166,000 in OLG Poker games on Aug. 16. She said she plans to pay off her mortgage and share with her children. The winning ticket was purchased at Erin Village Convenience.

Randy Harnum of Puslinch matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Aug. 12 Lotto Max draw and won $100,000. Harnum, a 62-year-old father of five and grandfather of five, said he plans to pay some bills, save, and possibly take a cruise. The winning ticket was purchased at Rexall on Eramosa Road in Guelph.
