Photos by Paige Peacock Warm beverage – Sponsored by All Aboard Palmerston, the event featured hot drinks at the Lion’s clubhouse building prior to the 6:30pm light up in the park. “Old 81,” the old steam engine facing Main street, was also lit up in Christmas lights as part of the event. Following the 6:30pm unveiling of the lights, a fireworks display took place. Santa comes to town – Not only was Santa in attendance of the event, horse and wagon rides were also available. Santa comes to town – The event, featuring Christmas lights lining the park’s walkways, also included a visit with Santa outside the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum. Brody, middle, and Sara Boyle were among those to visit with Santa.
