Dear Editor:
I am writing to you and the rest of our community to say what a wonderful, outstanding job Jo Phoenix and the rest of the Century Church Theatre group do in putting on the annual pantomime.
It was fantastic to see how the producers give opportunities to all sorts of want-to-be actors and singers, of all ages, when presenting the performance.
And a special shout out to Phoenix herself, who writes the script each year to include so many aspects of our local community in such a hilarious and entertaining fashion.
The costumes, the scenery and the set up are perfect. My goodness, if you missed the show this year, you have really missed a very enjoyable and fun evening. Something you don’t want to do again next year! The leading performers were exceptional, with Aunt Molly taking the cake with his extremely jovial and inclusive performance! Hats off to you, Aunt Molly!
Each year we make this a family event of the pantomime. We all look forward to it, as we gather at the farm for dinner and then descend en masse on the theatre. And there isn’t a bad seat in the place. What fun! And it is all local.
Well done Century Church Theatre group. You provide exceptional local entertainment.
