‘Frustrating’ process

Dear Editor:

I do not have a computer, never mind all my reasons. My husband and I want to go to the Royal Winter Fair (RWF) in Toronto. When I phoned the RWF I was told I could only order tickets online. Fine, I’ll try to get a friend to order for me.

Now for the Go Train to Toronto. I phoned and am told that I can order tickets online. When I finally connected with a real person (not a machine) I was told that MasterCard and other credit cards can’t be used to order – I must have a prepaid Mastercard or use Interac. I don’t use Interact because it is too hard to keep track of my bank account.

I have cash for the RWF and the Go Train. No good – you need tickets printed on a computer if you order on a computer. We need tickets early (not in three to four weeks) as seating for the RCMP Musical Ride is limited. My husband because of his vision problems, needs a seat in the front. I am trying to order early.

Talk about frustrating.
