‘Expert’ mouse?

Dear Editor:

Re: Inaction, paralysis, Nov. 14.

In his response to my letter, Karl Dick cites the widely publicized “World scientists warning of a climate emergency,” signed by “11,258 experts,” as proof that there is only one legitimate side to the global warming debate.

He is referring to “Viewpoint” article published in the BioScience journal that scientists were invited to sign on to.

Although the CBC will admit that one of the “experts,” who signed as “Micky Mouse,” was not a scientist, Rebel News’ Ezra Levant analyzed some of the 400 Canadians who signed on, and found numerous examples of individuals who were not scientists or “experts” on climate science, including a man whose expertise was reported as “BS detection and analysis.”

Another analysis of the first 469 people on the list revealed only 14 scientists and few experts on climate science.

You can’t believe every headline you read in the mainstream media.
