Dear Editor:
I would like to offer kudos to Dr. Michael Hinch of FYI Doctors in Arthur. He has selflessly availed his services to help an elderly patient with a foreign body in their eye.
Dr. Hinch came from his residence 45 minutes away to our closed clinic to do this. His efforts have reduced the pressure on our overloaded emergency rooms by treating this patient out of hospital. This gesture has also reduced the stress on the patient and the retirement residence.
I thank Dr. Hinch for his commitment to our profession and the community of Arthur. Heroes like this should be praised for all they do. Every action helps.
