Dear Editor:
Many people had a real proud feeling on June 30, between 7 and 11am, as we watched the bowl of the new water tower being pulled to the top.
It is really amazing to see how all the workers knew exactly how and when to do their jobs.
The new tower is so beautiful with the bright colours and leaves on it.
The words Mapleton and Drayton show up very well on the tower. Everyone driving through will sure know where they are.
A gathering was held after the tower raising with refreshments and good wishes to all involved in this big project for Mapleton. Congratulations from a former Draytonian.
