As a target employee, I am asking that all media correct the misconception that we will be receiving 16 weeks compensation. People are of the thought that at the end of this we all walk with 16 weeks pay and benefits affording us income while we job hunt . What it really is, is we are being given 16 more weeks of paid work. Should our individual store close before 16 weeks or should our personal job position be considered redundant at some point then we will receive the balance of the 16 weeks. For the majority of us, it will be work as usual with nothing at the end. Should we choose to leave prior to the closing there is nothing. I have chosen to send this anonymously as I am still an employee but want the media to stop making it look like something it is not !
