Ford Rocks!
Dear Editor,
This letter is in response to the ‘Cudgel Clause’ letter you published in your last issue. I think respectfully that, our speaker of the house was right to usher these ‘dissenters’ out. They were refusing to come to order and that gets you thrown out, it’s in the rules for the house of commons!
Ford is not using the notwithstanding clause on a ‘whim’ he is using it how it was meant to be used. Everybody is making a big deal out of this just because it involves Toronto. No one cares if Toronto stomps all over the rural areas.
Ford is cutting down on this council in Toronto because they don’t need that many councilors, who we pay for. He is fulfilling his campaign promises of lowering taxes. I hope and pray that Mr. Ford will continue to fulfill the promises that we voted him in for.
