Dear Editor,

I recently saw a letter that was sent to you by Werner Lomker. I disagree with Mr. Lomker’s opinions on the idea that teenagers aren’t the brightest these days. Mr.Lomker referred to teenagers as lazy and entitled. He stated that we are incapable of using simple cleaning supplies like a broom. My 16 year old sister has been working at the local Mcdonalds for a year, and she has shared her opinions with me. She says that “Different kids have different work ethics, but they can all use a broom.” Mr.Lomker didn’t think that teengers should be paid $15 an hour. My sister says that Mr.Lomker is incorrect because the majority of teenagers at fast food restaurants work just as hard as the adults, if not harder. The teenagers need to be saving up for school and they need to keep up with the cost increases. I think Mr. Lomker’s opinion was insulting and incorrect.
