Dear Editors:
The “smoke screen” created by the ETFO last week(Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario) failed abysmally. The foggy attempt was a poorly contrived diversion to deride the great
accomplishments of Sir John A.Macdonald whilst coincidentally, the media reported the lackluster scores of Ontario students–particularly the grade 6 math results. The diversion failed miserably (as did half the students).
So, Ms. Wynne, are half the grade 6 students addled, or do we have a very serious problem with the competency of our teachers?
