Greenhouse gases help to make sure the earth isn’t too hot or too cold. The amount of some greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are increasing, making our planet warmer. Polar bears are becoming extinct because of global warming. There has been a lot of ice loss in the past 20-30 years. What most people don’t know is that not just Polar bears are being killed tiny sea creatures called krill are too. Whales,birds and other animals depend on krill as food so other animals are dying because their food is dying. Most of the Earth’s surface is covered by a single ocean. All forms of life even if they don’t actually live in the ocean depend on it for survival. For example, our ocean helps control the Earth’s temperature with its currents, by constantly water moving.All ocean creatures even birds depend on microscopic plankton tiny plants for food and survival. Global warming is real and those are some reasons why you should care.
