We are grateful for your care and support and glad you chose to attend the volunteer appreciation luncheon where we give back to you.”

HARRISTON - Wellington County residents now have a new option for getting around. Harriston residents Ann and Ken Hepburn have launched Redbeard Rides, a pre-booked transportation service available to “anyone in Wellington County going anywhere in Ontario.”

DREW - An annual barbecue that’s been held for over 30 years in this small community has raised approximately $20,000 for a local man who was burned after an accident in his home.

Police searching for suspect after armed robbery at gas station

MINTO - Police are investigating an armed robbery early Friday morning at the Greenbush gas bar here. On July 20 at about 4am Wellington County OPP responded to the gas station, located on Highway 9 between Harriston and Clifford. “Initial reports indicate that a lone suspect arrived on a motorcycle, entered the gas bar brandishing a shotgun,” police stated in a press release.
