New telecommunications for Hamilton Drive area

BRUCEDALE - A new telecommunications company is coming to the Hamilton Drive area of Guelph-Eramosa. At the Oct. 1 council meeting, the last one prior to the municipal election on Oct. 22, council approved a radio license agreement with Pennytel Inc. to put a radio transmitter on the Hamilton Drive standpipe on Wellington Road 38.

ONTARIO - The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) has teamed up with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for the 2018 “Small Business Too Big To Ignore campaign” to raise awareness of the important contributions of small businesses to local communities across the province and the economy. In addition to the social media campaign, the Ontario chamber has released statistics about the impact small businesses have on the province.
