Pride celebration – To highlight Pride Month, AAA Events owner Tracey Wallace decided the time has come for Erin to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, so she organized the inaugural Erin Pride Procession on June 13. Spectators observed physical distancing while cheering as the procession of rainbow-decorated vehicles drove through neighbourhoods in both Erin and Hillsburgh.
“The response from Erin residents has been very supportive overall,” said Wallace, who plans to expand the event next year once the pandemic is over.
