Hockey bursary program application forms available

The Ontario Hockey Federation has announced that application forms for the 2009 OHF bursary program are now available.

The program will provide $26,000 in financial assistance to OHF registered participants to help offset the cost of post secondary education. In the past 12 years, the federation has distributed over $155,000 to more than 195 post secondary students.  All students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a Canadian post secondary institution and are members of the OHF are eligible to receive bursary funds.

For more information, including eligibility requirements and to download an application form, visit the OHF site at www.ohf.on.ca.

The OHF is the largest of Hockey Canada’s 13 branches with over 215,000 registered participants. The federation governs minor, junior, and senior hockey with the support of its seven member partners.  The OHF along with Hockey Northwestern Ontario and the Ottawa District Hockey Association govern all amateur hockey in Ontario.
