MOUNT FOREST – The 2021 River Classic day of golf will be held at Pike Lake Golf Centre on Sept. 29, with tee times available from 9am to 2pm.
The tournament was launched in 2019 to raise funds for local not-for-profits, but was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, the Mount Forest Lions Club has partnered with The River to host the event with money being raised for a new Mount Forest swimming pool.
Cost to participate is $150 per player in teams of four or eight and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch and a silent auction.
