Global Pet Foods “˜shows heart”™ for homeless pets

From Feb. 12 to 28 Global Pet Foods is hosting its annual Show Us Your Heart fundraiser and Global Pet Foods Fergus is showing its heart to Cats Anonymous.

One hundred per cent of the funds raised will go to “Help Fix Rikki’s Heart.” Rikki is just a kitten, but has been diagnosed with a serious heart problem, which will likely require further tests and heart surgery at the University of Guelph.

The donations will be used to cover her medical costs.

Community members can show their support by visiting Global Pet Foods in Fergus at 600 Scotland St., and donating as little as $1.
