ABOYNE – In the first presentation of the new Gallery Concert season, the Cantabile String Quartet is set to take place at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Nov. 3 at 2pm.

The show brings a varied program with a ticket price of $10, readily available at the door.

These non-profit concerts take place six times a year in the Exhibition Hall of the Wellington County Museum and Archives, supported by musicians who volunteer their time and talents.

The Gallery Concerts are sponsored jointly by the museum and the Elora Arts Council.

The Cantabile String Quartet members are: Paul McNaughton, violin; Jay Samuel, violin; Ron Dolynchuk, viola; Murray Charters, cello; and Christoph Kessel, flute.

The November program, entitled The Circle of Life, offers The Flute Quartet by Mozart, Palladio by Karl Jenkins, String Quartet (“Sunrise”) by Franz Joseph Haydn, and Waltz by Shostakovich.

The performers return after a short intermission with music from films and folk traditions.
