Four people seriously injured after Sunday crash

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are investigating a serious collision here that sent four people to hospital with serious and life threatening injuries.

On Feb. 27 at about 5pm, emergency crews responded to a crash involving two vehicles on Highway 6, south of Mount Forest.

Wellington County OPP officials say multiple occupants were injured, with two transported to local hospitals with serious injuries and two airlifted to trauma centres with life threatening injuries.

“The cause of the collision is being investigated,” police stated, noting the road was closed for several hours.
