Fergus Agricultural Society issues fall fair survey as it prepares strategic plan

FERGUS – After two years of hosting virtual fairs, organizers of the Fergus Fall Fair figure this is a good time to regroup and are asking the community to help them set a new path going forward.

The Fergus Agricultural Society, which runs the fair, has issued a community survey and hopes to get feedback from people who have attended the fair in the past, and those who have never attended but might be interested.

“We want to move ahead with the survey to give us a foundation and help with strategic planning,” Tayler Black, president of the ag society, said in an interview.

“This year we hope for an in-person fair, so this is a good time to reassess.”

Simply put, the survey asks what you like about the fair and what you’d like to see there.

Those who fill out the survey will be entered into a draw. Prizes include a 28-quart YETI cooler valued at $365, and a $100 gift card for Fraberts Fresh Foods.

The survey ends Jan. 26 and can be found at fergusfallfair.ca/survey.
