Erin resident raises $3,300 for SickKids

ERIN – A longtime resident of Erin who wished to remain anonymous, initiated a small project after encountering impatient drivers honking and passing him on Main Street in Erin.

The road has a posted speed limit of 40km/h. The impatient drivers upset him to the point that he came up with the idea to have posters printed.

The man approached local businesses and residents to sell the posters, with all donations collected going to the Toronto SickKids Foundation.

The local resident wishes to acknowledge and thank everyone that has supported the cause.

The $3,300 collected was received by the SickKids Foundation donor care coordinator.

“We thank you so much for your donation as it will help SickKids to continue to make a clear and positive difference towards the health of the children,” the official stated in a letter.
