New trophy – Lawn bowling awards were presented after a potluck supper at the Elora Rocks lawn bowling clubhouse on Sept. 28. The clubhouse introduced a new trophy for the club’s ladies champion in memory of Jean Olsen, who passed a year ago. Olsen bowled for over 35 years and was heavily involved with club. From left: Olsen’s husband Jim presented the award to first winner Sharon Beer. “This trophy was the nicest thing that the Elora Rocks Lawn Bowling Club could have done for her,” he said.
