Easter egg hunt for children with disabilities

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Elora Road Christian Fellowship is hosting an Easter egg hunt for children with disabilities and their families.

The indoor event is on April 13 at the church, located on Wellington Road 7, north of Guelph, from 10am to noon. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required by 8am on April 12 (email register@ercf.ca).

Sponsorship coordinator Abraham Uddin is seeking companies, groups and individuals able to provide support – either financial or through donation of supplies.

There will be face-painting, crafts, music and visits with the Easter bunny.

Egg hunts will be held separately. One will have beeping eggs for the visually impaired, another will have magnetic eggs for those with mobility issues and there will be a quiet egg hunt for sensory-sensitive children.

There will also be a general egg hunt for other children and siblings.
