CW Shuffleboard Club celebrates end of season

CENTRE WELLINGTON  – The season has come to an end for the Centre Wellington Shuffleboard Club.

The local shuffleboard club will be celebrating the season’s end on Sept. 15 at 1pm at the Elora Curling Club.

The club  will be dismantling its mats and packing them away to make room for the curling season.

“We would like to thank Elora Curling Club for the use of their facility for our shuffleboard members,” said club president Maureen Bryan.

“We thank all of our members who participated this year.”

The club will be returning in May and is encouraging seniors to come out every Monday and Thursday to keep active and take part in a great sport.

“Bring a friend and join our shuffleboard family, you’ll be glad you did,” said Bryan.

“Shuffleboard is not only for seniors, but it promotes exercise, and good well-being, and you’ll make lots of new friends.”
