![]() Police are currently investigating the origin of numerous pieces of property recovered within a vehicle invovled in an alleged home invasion and are asking the public for their assistance. Anyone recognizing anything seen in the accompanying photo is encouraged to call the OPP. OPP arrest three following home invasion near Mount ForestWellington North - County of Wellington OPP have made three arrests in relation to the investigation of a home invasion at in the Mount Forest area. Around 3pm on Feb. 5 police were dispatched to an active break and enter at a rural residence, south of Mount Forest. It was reported that two males had kicked down the back door of a residence and entered. Police say the suspects fled when confronted by the 85-year-old victim and were last seen driving south on Highway 6 in what was described as a newer model white car. OPP responded and canvassed the area. The getaway vehicle was located by officers when suspects attempted to conceal themselves at another property in behind a barn. Police were able to arrest one male and one female however the second male fled on foot. After a lengthy pursuit officers were able catch and arrest the suspect. Police are currently investigating the origin of numerous pieces of property recovered within the vehicle and asking the public for their assistance. Brandon Allan Davie, 38, of Owen Sound has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, resist arrest, illegally possessing an identity document, and breach of a recognizance. Stephen Frederick Finigan, 42 of Hagersville has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and illegally possessing an identity document. Novlet James Young, 40, of Springmount has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and illegally possessing an identity document. All three suspects were held for bail.
