Residents hoping for Bieber sightings

ABERFOYLE - It appears there will be local residents on the lookout for Justin Bieber.

As part of the municipal announcements on Sept. 5, Puslinch council briefly commented on last month’s alleged property purchase by celebrity Justin Bieber.

The singer’s new 9,000 square foot home reportedly backs onto Puslinch Lake.

Speaking about the recent Puslinch Lake Conservation Association hoedown fundraiser, councillor Ken Roth quipped, “Justin Bieber didn’t show up ... but there was a life-size cardboard cutout to take selfies with.”

Councillor Susan Fielding added, “I know some young ladies in the township who are looking forward to bumping into Justin somewhere.”

She added it would be nice if Bieber were able to do something for the township, similar to his hometown of Stratford.

“Who knows, you might see him a little bit,” she added.
