Centre Wellington launches community engagement survey to help set 2023-26 strategic plan

ELORA – Centre Wellington Township has launched a community engagement survey to help identify key themes for its 2023-26 corporate strategic plan.

“Our strategic plan will provide key priorities for our council’s four-year term of office, building on our current successes and guiding township priorities and actions to be future ready,” stated Mayor Shawn Watters in a press release.

“I encourage everyone to take five or 10 minutes to share with us your thoughts about where you think the township is today, and where you want it to be in the future, so that we can identify what actions and goals are needed to ensure Centre Wellington continues to be one of the best places to live, work and play in.”

The strategic plan is being developed in collaboration with council, staff, our community partners and residents.

The plan will serve as a framework to guide council and staff in the decision-making process and to direct our resources where they are needed over this term of council.

The plan will direct the shape of the township in a variety of areas such as infrastructure, service delivery, asset management, environmental sustainability, and healthy growth.

The community engagement survey is available until April 9 at www.connectcw.ca.

Paper copies of the survey are also available at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, the Victoria Park Seniors Centre, and the Elora municipal office.
