FERGUS – An 18-year-old Fergus resident has been charged with arson in connection with a suspicious fire here earlier this month.

MELANCTHON – Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health received notification of a positive rabies test in a bat on Aug. 10. There were two human exposures to the animal. Both individuals have begun a treatment protocol.

Listowel man charged with sexual luring of a minor

PUSLINCH – A Listowel man has been charged with sexual luring of a minor here. Wellington County OPP announced on Aug. 18 the charge relates to an investigation started earlier in the month.
